• Solution

  The Circulaire^® Downflow Workstation DFW is available in two standard sizes: 700 mm and 1000 mm. These are cutting tables with active carbon filtered exhaust air. They are typically used in pathology or forensic laboratories but also wherever a location-independent solution is required. Extraction takes place through high-efficiency active carbon filters (or HEPA for particles), making the units easy and cost-effective to install and maintain as no exhaust installation is required. They provide protection from fumes and particles by drawing air through the perforated stainless steel work surface to ensure compliance with COSHH BS7989 regulations.

• Functional principle

  The air flow is guided towards the interior in order to prevent released particles and aerosols from leaving the controlled working area. This guarantees personal protection. The active carbon effectively traps solvent vapours at the source.
