Model RO = Environmental and personal protection
The inward-directed, low-turbulence air flow prevents particles and aerosols within the working zone from escaping to the outside. HEPA filters ensure that potential contaminants are retained at the source and that the clean air in the room is not compromised.
Model RP = Product protection
In this containment, the air flows with low turbulence through the HEPA filter from top to bottom. The outward-directed air flow prevents the product from being contaminated with particles or microorganisms.
Model RC = Environmental, personal and product protection
In the RC series enclosures, part of the filtered exhaust air is blown downwards through the work area in a laminar flow as an ‘air stamp’, ensuring product protection.
An ‘air curtain’ is created along the front panel and together with the intake room air. This is fed back to the filter or air recirculation system through the air slots in the table segments, which in turn serves to protect the operators.
Part of the exhaust air is returned to the laboratory environment via the exhaust air filter, free of particles and microorganisms. At the same time, this minimises the risk of particles from inside the workbench entering the laboratory environment.
