SKAN, headquartered in Switzerland with a strong US presence, is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry for its cleanroom equipment. This equipment is routinely used in vaccine development, production of pharmaceutical products, and other critical operations to ensure the safety and quality of pharmaceutical drugs.
Our US base is comprised of a parts business, a field service/assembly team, a microbiology team, a documentation qualification department, sales, and a field qualification team, among other administrative functions.
Function Specific Tasks:
- Preparation of quotations for spare parts based on customer requests
- Prioritization and initiation of the dispatch of spare parts orders
- Proactive contact with customers, to query and increase satisfaction as well as to generate possible sales opportunities
- Identification of stock materials and definition of safety stocks for these stock items based on expected sales
- Promote contracts for spare parts packages
- Regular availability check of poorly available spare parts and active exchange with other departments to prioritize the use of these parts
Experience Needed:
- First experience in dealing directly with customers
- Experience in dealing with SAP material management & sales transactions
Qualifications Needed:
- Interested in technical problems
- High energy and self-motivation
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
