SKAN, headquartered in Switzerland with a strong US presence, is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry for its cleanroom equipment. This equipment is routinely used in vaccine development, production of pharmaceutical products, and other critical operations to ensure the safety and quality of pharmaceutical drugs.

Our US base is comprised of a parts business, a field service/assembly team, a microbiology team, a documentation qualification department, and a field qualification team, among other administrative functions.

Function Specific Tasks:

  • Provide regular service on SKAN isolators located at customer sites in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico
  • Provide preventative maintenance and calibration services at the customer location
  • Perform requalification services on SKAN isolators to include air flow analysis, HEPA filtration scanning, etc.
  • Execution of GMP compliant documentation
  • Ability to create detailed service reports
  • Maintain professional appearance and attitude when working on SKAN customer sites. Interacting and conversing with both external customers and internal SKAN Sales, Service and technical support teams
  • Travel 90% (including overnight and occasional weekend/holiday travel)
  • Managing time and workload to ensure that jobs are completed within expected timelines, including scheduling own travel, submitting expenses, booking hours, and coordinating with other parties in preparation for starting work at the customer site
  • Submitting punch and findings lists at the conclusion of each job
  • Promote company service contracts, maintenance, and consumable products
  • Field experience with requalification preferred
  • An associate degree, certificate, or time spent in college preferred
  • Technical Training, Electrical, Mechanical, and Pneumatic experience preferred
  • Prior experience in cGMP or other heavily regulated industries preferred

  • Graduated at SKAN academy (within the first 6 months on the job)
