Process

Efficient transfer from Grade C or Grade D into the Grade A working chamber

  • 1

    Loading

Materials are loaded into the mat isolator, which is typically positioned close to a filling line in a Grade C or D cleanroom.

  • 2

    Decontamination

Fully automated cycle using H₂O₂ via skanfog micro-nebulization technology. Efficient process within 30–45 minutes, including leak testing.

  • 3

    Transfer out

After validated decontamination, transfer via Rapid Transfer Port (RTP) containers. The materials are then introduced into the filling line.

  • 4

    H₂O₂ neutralization

The nanox catalyst fully decomposes H₂O₂ after decontamination. No HVAC connection is required, as the exhaust air can be safely returned directly to the room.

FAQs

  • mat provides validated decontamination and standardized cycles, minimizing the risk of manual interventions. This supports compliance with the tightened Annex 1 requirements for Contamination Control Strategy (CCS) and aseptic material transfer.

  • Unlike conventional airlocks, mat is fully isolated and operates with automated H₂O₂ cycles. This makes decontamination reproducible, faster, and safer with significantly fewer manual interventions.

  • By reducing transfer paths and times and accelerating decontamination, filling line downtime is reduced. In many cases, mat shortens the material preparation process from several hours to less than one hour, a measurable efficiency gain in routine operation.
