We support you in developing and optimizing protective clothing concepts – from identifying hazardous substances to wearability test

To protect sensitive products, the particle load in cleanrooms must be kept as low as possible. A single person can emit up to 110’000’000 particles per minute when moving quickly. This means, the user is the largest source of contamination. The choice of the right PPE, as a protective barrier between personal and product, is decisive for product quality.

Focus on the future

Environmentally Friendly Tyvek Protective Clothing

Thanks to its single-grade raw material (100% polyethylene), uncontaminated Tyvek protective clothing can be recycled in an environmentally friendly way and reused. The products are manufactured by DuPont in accordance with ISO 14001 environmental guidelines.

Compared to reusable protective clothing, significant ecological advantages arise. Reusable textiles must be transported to the laundry after each use and then delivered back, causing additional emissions. The washing, drying, and sterilization processes also require substantial amounts of energy. Downstream steps in cleanroom operations further contribute to high energy consumption. In addition, the use of aggressive detergents in industrial large-scale washing machines puts an extra burden on the environment.
