Frequently asked questions

  • Measurements are carried out either according to customer-specific requirements or in accordance with ISO 14644-3 standards. This ensures that the results meet both operational and regulatory standards.

  • Yes. In this case, the test is performed “in operation”, meaning under actual working conditions. Adjusted acceptance criteria apply in such situations. However, measurements are typically performed “at rest”, when the cleanroom is not in operation, unless specified otherwise.

  • The duration depends on the size of the cleanroom, the required acceptance criteria, and the number of measurement points. A typical GMP measurement (Class C or D) performed “at rest” in an average-sized cleanroom usually takes about two hours.
