Functional principle

Class II safety cabinets with two HEPA filters

In Class II safety cabinets, part of the filtered exhaust air is directed downward as a laminar “air stamp,” ensuring product protection. Together with the drawn-in room air, this creates an “air curtain” at the front panel, which returns through the work surface slots to the air circulation system, supporting operator protection. Particle-free exhaust air simultaneously minimizes the risk of contaminating the laboratory environment.
