As digitalization and connectivity continue to evolve, cybersecurity is becoming increasingly important for products, systems, and solutions.

At SKAN, we take potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities affecting our products and solutions seriously. SKAN encourages customers, partners, and security researchers to report potential security issues so that they can be investigated and their potential impact assessed.

If you have identified a potential cybersecurity vulnerability in a SKAN product or solution, please contact SKAN through the reporting channel below.

 

Vulnerability reporting at SKAN:

  • Potential vulnerabilities affecting SKAN products and solutions can be reported by email:

    ot.security@skan.com

    Please pay attention to the following:

    • Monitoring hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 CET
    • Preferred language: English

    This reporting channel is intended for potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities affecting SKAN products and solutions.

    For general technical support, service requests, or other product-related questions, please use the contact form.

  • When submitting a report, please provide as much of the following information as possible:

    • Affected product: Product name and, where applicable, machine or system identification
    • Product version: Software, firmware, or relevant component version
    • Description: Explanation of the potential vulnerability
    • Reproduction steps: Steps required to reproduce or demonstrate the issue
    • Potential impact: Possible consequences of the vulnerability
    • Technical information: Logs, screenshots, configuration details, or other supporting material
    • Contact information: Your name and contact details, if you would like us to contact you

    Providing this information is voluntary, but it can help SKAN better understand and assess the reported issue.

    Please do not include unnecessary personal data or confidential information unrelated to the reported vulnerability.

  • Once a report is received, SKAN will review the information provided and assess the reported issue.

    If additional information is needed to understand the issue, SKAN may contact the reporting party for further details or clarification.

    Depending on the outcome of the assessment, SKAN may investigate affected products, involve the relevant internal teams, and determine appropriate mitigation or corrective measures.
