SKAN, the market leader for pharmaceutical isolators and HME, one of the leading Swiss integrators in the field of automation and data intelligence, announce their merger.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Allschwil and Muttenz, 01 November 2019 – After many years of successful cooperation, the companies SKAN AG and Hans Meyer Engineering AG (HME) decided to merge on 01 October 2019. The goal is to expand HME’s technological leadership position with SKAN’s worldwide network and to realize projects close to the customer. In turn, SKAN is strengthening its existing digital solutions developments through HME’s experience and technology.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Silvan Meyer, CEO of HME, will lead SKAN’s newly created digital solutions division as Chief Digital Officer. He is looking forward to the merger: “We are pleased to have found a partner in SKAN with whom we will internationally establish our leading position in the field of automation and data intelligence. For our existing customers, we will remain the reliable partner we\u2019ve always been\u201d. Thomas Huber, CEO of SKAN Group, also welcomes the development: “With HME’s expertise, we are able to offer our customers even more comprehensively integrated solutions in the field of aseptic processes.
