They are just more clarified now.<\/li>\n<li>One key part is the need for a contamination control strategy. This strategy should be seen as a roadmap to reach a fully Annex 1 compliant production. Yet, many of the required documents already exist and only need to be linked as a holistic strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Key requirements of the Annex 1<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/skan.com\/en\/product_cat\/isolators\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Isolators<\/a> or closed <a href=\"https:\/\/skan.com\/en\/products\/isolators\/rabs-restricted-access-barrier-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RABS<\/a> are required as barrier systems.<\/li>\n<li>The isolator requires at least a grade C environment.<\/li>\n<li>PUPSIT is required with only very few justified exceptions.<\/li>\n<li>The operator needs to be eliminated from the processes as much as possible (e. g. by using rapid transfer ports for stoppers)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Key steps to Annex 1 compliance<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The best preparation for Annex 1 compliance is to conduct a gap analysis: review existing processes and risk assessments and evaluate if they are still current.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge management should be seen as key part of quality risk assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Until you can reach a fully Annex 1 compliant production, you need to have interim measures in place to secure product safety.<\/li>\n<li>Companies continuously need to adapt to evolving new technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Andy\u2019s final tip<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Don\u2019t over-complicate! The CCS is a commonsense strategy, which contains possible risks during each production process and how to minimize them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/section>\r\n\n\n\t<section
